Message from the Store Manager:

Hi Everyone:
Thank you for offering to give your time at Seekers in February.  Though I sent out confirmation emails, this gives you the big picture for who is working when.  I also wanted to share a couple of things with you.
-Support for Haiti- The oil drum wall hangings in the store are made in Haiti.  Seekers is donating 100% of the sales of those items back to the artists who made them (or their families).  In addition we are giving 10% of our sales Jan-Mar to Haitian aid relief.  There is nothing special you need to do – just let our customers know.
-Valentine’s Day feature – we have some new items for Valentine’s – glass hearts by Luke Adams in Massachusetts and some lovely greeting cards. 
-Lent – this month we will also feature Lenten readings – for customers wishing to use this season as a time for contemplation.   You may also suggest the books that are above the Buddhist section as many of them could also fit in that genre.
-Parish Hall doors – The church has changed the locks on  the parish hall and is requesting that if someone without a key wishes to use the hall – they must go to the office.     We don’t want you to have to wonder if that person should or should not be there.  If someone or a group was authorized to use the hall – they will have a key.
As you know in March St. Peter’s will be hosting Diocesan convention (12^th/13^th). There will most likely be special hours for Seekers.  And we will have a table at the convention with the other vendors.  If you are interested in helping out during that weekend – please let me know.
