Sale of Haitian art to support artists and their families in Haiti

We are all saddened by the tragedy in Haiti.   When one walks into Seekers, Spiritual Treasures at St. Peter’s square one cannot help but notice the artwork made by Haitian artists.   Given the current crisis in Haiti, Seekers is donating 100% of the sales of these Haitian items directly to the artists and their families.  “Seekers mission is to provide resources to those in need,” says Sue Potts, Chair of Seekers Standing Committee, the governing body for the ministry.  “We are working with the organization who imports these items, to ensure these funds go directly back to the artists to help them rebuild their lives.”    In addition, Seekers is also setting aside 10% of the net proceeds of all store sales through the end of March to Haitian aid relief. “Though Seekers does give to organizations locally, we believe are called to help the thousands who need help in Haiti,” says Potts.
